Happy Friday! I can't believe how quickly the week goes by. I have so many projects going on in my head right now...I just hope the weekend doesn't go by as fast because I really need to get a lot done. Wish me luck!!

My advice for the day: Go outside! I'm going to do the same.

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend and an enjoyable Easter. I ate way too much candy, I never want Easter candy AGAIN! We spent most of the day in the park, I love the ducks...obviously planning on a goose or duck drawing here soon. We saw so many geese making their nests, I can't wait to go back and see some of the babies! (click for a larger view)

Kind of a wacky post today. The drawing is inspired by Dee Dee Ramone, such a character. My sister helped ghost write a book about his life, Poisoned Heart by Vera Ramone King. The book has tons of awesome pictures and weird stories about Dee Dee. (click for a larger view)

Okay I'm almost done with this series of crayon drawings and I'm totally loving them! I have a couple more things I want to try though. I was inspired by a chevron pattern I saw today so I want to work that into one of these too. Also on a side note my boyfriend said, why don't you take the pictures on this white table...so they have a white background?! And I was like, NO WAY...I love our weird beige carpet as a background...dont' ask me why, I just do!

It's beautiful outside, oh my goodness. I can't wait to get out there. Anyways, it is my day off so I have to post a little something! Just a couple of drawings I did the other night, nothing fancy. I like playing with words and images together. I also love plants but I don't have any because I am the worst at taking care of them.

About to finally finish this lovely zine, Bernard the Bear. I've been working on it for awhile with my friend Erin, she wrote the story and I've been working on the illustrations. I can't wait to finally share it with everyone! With a lot of help I was able to do a silk screened cover for the book, it's just one color...sort of a minty green, I think you'll like it!

I've been so tired this week!! I haven't felt like drawing at all, or doing anything really. Very sleepy. Anyways, I did do a couple drawings Thursday night and I just did one of my absolute favorite stray cat, Georgie. I haven't done a pencil drawing in a long time, it was fun...I need to do more! Georgie is an amazing little friend, he doesn't have a tail which only makes him cuter.

Oh my goodness I had such a wonderful day off yesterday! I spent the whole day outside, ahhh it was awesome. Anyways, we had planned on going to see a movie last night but instead we both got really sucked into our artwork. I did some little drawings on these tiny illustration cards I got, it was so much fun! Of course I love anything tiny and anything I can use my crayons on....so fun. I haven't decided what to do with them yet. I might just give one away with each zine I sell on my etsy, who knows?! (click for a larger view)
