Shoes and gems. 

Alright everybody, sad news...I have to go back to work today. I probably wont post for a few days, it's been really fun, I'll miss it!! Anyways, I gave ya'll a post overload today, I hope you enjoy! I really do heart boots, especially these. I got them from Urban Outfitters on sale, of course, and they had really weird laces that wrapped around the back. So naturally I just cut them so they would tie in the front, they're all frayed at the ends but I kind of like them that way. (click for a larger view)

I promised more, so here you go! My sweetie of a boyfriend bought me some new pens and a sketchbook so I've been drawing a lot...it's so fun!! Secretly I need to be working that book I mentioned earlier, Bernard the Bear...my friend Erin might kill me if I don't actually get something done on it. I'm a good procrastinator, who isn't though, right?

I couldn't wait to get home and post something today! Although I didn't really plan out what it was going to be...this post is more like an afterthought, oh well! I've been really busy, traveling home to St. Louis and catching up with things at work but I'll keep posting as much as I can. I have to admit these are a little rough, I'm really tired and photoshop can really test my patience. I find it challenging though, I can always go back to my crayons, right?

These are some drawings I did in my sketchbook with a LePen in the color Orchid. I love trying out new pens but I always find myself going back to a basic Pilot roller ball pen. I wasn't really thinking about anything in particular when I drew these...the sleep on dream on refers to a song I was listening to by the Chemical Brothers...it's an awesome song if you haven't heard it!

Hi! I hope you had a great weekend! I wanted to share some sketches from a book I've been working on with my best bud Erin...It's called Bernard the Bear. She masterfully wrote the story, which involves Bernard the bear, Sally the squid, Dave the dinosaur and so much more! I won't reveal everything because I hope you'll read the book and find out more.

Just another page from my sketchbook....much more all over the place than the other ones I've posted. I go from coffee and pie to makeup and hot dogs...? I don't know what I was thinking but it was fun to color all of the little makeup pieces!

I've been working on some drawings lately that I would love to have framed soon. They're really simple...pen and crayons. The crayons I use are really weird and kind of my special little secret...! Just not sure where to put them once I'm done with the whole collection. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Hi! It's been awhile I realize. I am now dedicated to posting more drawings and less pictures of my cat.
